Ameera Holidays representative will receive you at Delhi airport/ railway station and drive you to Corbett National Park. In the final two hours, you will stop for bird watching activity and enjoy the wildlife of this region. Arrive at the resort and check-in after which you can rest and explore the forest in the evening time. Spend the night at the hotel.
Will start with breakfast after which you will be taken for a walk on the side of the Ramganga River to view the water birds including the mergansers, waders and river lapwings among other birds. Next, you can opt for an elephant ride to get closer to the birds of the jungle. It is more like a ‘watchtower’ giving you the utmost possibility of clear bird view. You can see birds like Blue Winged Minla, Lammergeier, White-rumped Shama and Puff-Throated Babbler along with other beasts of the jungle. Return to the hotel for night stay.
Early morning on day 3 leave Corbett to reach Pangot in Nainital. It is 2-3 hours journey and as you reach this village on the north-western side of Nainital, you will check into a wildlife cottage. Start with the bird watching activity which will include viewing the Himalayan species of birds like the Himalayan Griffon, Rufous-Bellied Woodpecker, Blue-winged Minla, Lammergeier, Slaty – Backed and Spotted Fork Tail. Take some rest and then stroll in the evening along the forest line. Spend the night in the Pangot cottage.
On the morning of day 5, start with breakfast and then start for Sat Tal. On way spot all the bird species of this amazing region. The drive will take you to the Cheena Peak Range through Kilbury and Snow View Point. After reaching Sat Tal check into the hotel booked for you. Bird watching activity can take place along the Sat Tal region. Spend the night at the hotel.
On the final day start with early breakfast and move forward to Nainital. On the way you can stop for bird watching activity and when you reach Nainital go for shopping at local bazaar. Leave Nainital after lunch and the Namaste India Trip representative will drop you at Delhi airport/ railway station to head homewards with ‘birds’ on your mind.
