Days Itinerary
Welcome to Kerala! Upon your arrival at the Cochin Airport, our tour representative will greet you firmly and then will assist you towards one of our listed hotels. Post-check-in, loosen up yourself and relax in the cozy calm environment of the hotel room. Later in the afternoon, you will be transferred to the historic town and make your first visit to the popular Chinese Fishing Nets of Cochin. On every postcard of Kochi, one can find this hallmark depicting Fort Kochi. St. Francis CSI Church which is believed to be the oldest church built in the year 1503 in India. It is also the place where the great Portuguese explorer Vasco De Gama was buried. Then hit the road towards the popular Santa Cruz Basilica which is one of the most imposing and finest churches in India. Later in the evening, proceed towards a local theatre where you can enjoy Kalaripayattu which is a popular traditional martial art and can also be said as the oldest technique of martial arts in the world. Return to the hotel for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay.
Post a relishing breakfast at the hotel, hit the roads to start your trip of the colonial township along with various local delights. Enjoy taking the ride of Tuk-Tuk which is the most found and opted mode of transportation and make your halt at Dhobi Khana which is a popular laundry station. However, the place is left with a picture of slow extinction which was earlier found throbbed with the activities. Start your visit with the small streets at Mattancherry and then drive towards the Jew Town and finally at the Dutch Palace which is adorned with beautiful mural paintings related to the 17th century. Later in the afternoon, hit the road towards the houseboat where you can enjoy the backwater cruise. These boats seem like Kettuvallams during the ancient time which was built with huge wooden planks of Jack Wood, and are joined with coir of coconut shells and were used to carry the heavy loads of rice and spices. Presently, these houseboats are preferred by tourists as a floating accommodation floating through the backwaters. Enjoy the panoramic views of the surroundings and also witness village life. Also, if you wish to join the chef for shopping out the ingredients required to cook the scrumptious meal of the day. Stroll down the narrow lanes of the surrounding village situated amidst the lush green valleys. Enjoy visiting the country canoe ride as this is the best way to explore the beauties of the place to get a closer view. Return to the houseboat for dinner and then a lavish overnight stay.
You do not need to set an alarm for waking up in the morning as this will be done by the beautiful chirping sounds of birds. After enjoying the hearty and lip-smacking delicacies at the houseboat, you will be transferred to the next destination of the journey, Aranmula. After arriving Aranmula, you will be escorted to the accommodation. You will be provided with a warm welcome by the host of that place and then he will take you to the room booked for you. After relaxing for a few hours, you can proceed to explore the finest metallurgical works of making metal mirrors. Locals of Aranmula believe that keeping the handmade Aranmula Kannadi brings prosperity, wealth, and luck. It is also used as a displaying object in the marriage functions organized in the city. Your Kerala trip is said to be incomplete if you do not pay a visit to the temples. After the completion of a fun-filled day, you can savor yourself with a homely made dinner and an overnight stay.

Post enjoying the scrumptious morning meal at the homestay the host drive towards the plains and also the lush green meadows as well as the green mountains of the Nilgiris. Coffee, Rubber, and Cardamom plantations and tea plantations can be your next destination. After arriving Thekkady, Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is a well-established tourist destination. This huge sanctuary is home to a wide variety of exotic animals like Sambar, Elephants, Langur, Wild Boar, Bison, etc. with an unending chain of valleys and also the spice-fragmented plantations. After reaching Thekkady, check-in at the hotel and then hit the roads towards the Cumbum Valley where you can proceed towards Harvest Fresh Farm. Today you will be heading towards the Periyar National Park where one can reach after covering a trekking trail of 2 hours which is then followed by a relaxing bamboo rafting. After savoring the delicious breakfast at the hotel, drive towards the largest tea-growing region in South India. You need to pass through the sculpted gardens and the rolling hills. The region used to serves as one of the best destinations for spending summer vacations of the European settlers for a few centuries. After reaching Munnar, check-in at the resort and then proceed towards the Eravikulam National Park where one can find the Nilgiri Tahr which are the mountain goats in South India. if time allows you then you can explore the Mattupetty Dam where you can witness the reflection of tea gardens. After the completion of 7th-day excursion, return to the stay for dinner and then overnight stay.
After taking a lavish breakfast, gear up yourself to cover the trekking trail through the rolling hills. It will take almost 4 to 5 hours to cover the distance. This trek starts from Top Station Village where you will be transferred via jeep. From here one can start walking and on the way, they can witness the beauty of tea plantations where they can interact with the workers working in the tea field. Finally, you will be reaching the beautiful Pazhathottam Village and observe the farmers taking caring of their fields. Make a halt to take lunch and then proceed towards Koviloor Village.
After a hearty breakfast, proceed towards Cochin and on the route, you will be visiting Tea Gardens and get to know about the step-wise manufacturing process of tea. Also, visit the Hill Palace which was constructed in the year 1865 in the traditional style of architecture. Later in the evening, visit Greenix Village Museum where one can witness the beauty of traditional arts and crafts of Kerala and can also witness Kathakali – the iconic attraction of Kerala.
