Days Itinerary

Arrive Amritsar, Check inn Hotel, After Fresh-up drive to visit Indo-Pak Wagah Border to watch Flag Retreat Ceremony – Wagah, an army outpost on Indo-Pak border 30 Kms from Amritsar where the daily highlight is the evening beating the Retreat ceremony. Soldiers from both countries march in perfect drill, going through the steps of bringing down their respective national flags. As the sun goes down, nationalistic fervour rises and lights are switched on marking the end of the day amidst thunderous, overnight stay at Hotel.
After breakfast Start your half day city tour with the blessings of Golden Temple- the most Important Sikh shrine which is also called Mecca for the Sikhs is a living symbol of the spiritual and historical traditions of the Sikhs. Then visit Jallianwala Bagh where, on April 13, 1919, British and Gurkha soldiers opened fire on an unarmed forbidden gathering, killing. Later transfer to Dharamshala. Overnight stay at Dharamshala.
Morning, after fresh-up go for Full day local sightseeing, visit The Dalai Lama resides (Cholangkhang). At the start of Mcleodganj is a small bazaar filled with variety of Tibetan handicrafts and artefacts. At the end of the spur lies the Namgyal Monastery. The external wall is surrounded by rows of prayer wheels. Within the monastery are large idols of Buddha The charming church of St. John in the wilderness is situated here and this is the final resting place of Lord Elgin, a British Viceroy of India during the 19th century. Rest of the time leisure for individual activities, dinner and overnight at hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Dalhousie. Arrive at Dalhousie and check into the hotel. Visit the Mall which is the main shopping area. Browse through shops at the Tibetan market for souvenirs. Overnight at the Hotel.
After breakfast take a sightseeing trip. Visit St. John’s Church, dating back to 1882. Drive to Jandri Ghat, and then visit Subhash Baoli. Drive onwards to the scenic town of Khajjiar. Visit the Khajji Nag Temple dating back to the 12th century A.D. Overnight at the hotel.
Morning drive to Katra. Evening free to explore the destination. Overnight stay at Katra.

Early morning trek to Mata Vaishno Devi shrine (12 kms), Ponies can also be arranged by Self for the trek return back to Katra late in evening/night, Mata Vaishno Devi temple is one of the holiest Hindu temples dedicated to Shakti, and Indian Spiritual tradition has propounded four Purusharth (objectives) of a human life.

These being Dharm (Righteousness), Arth (Material Pursuits), Kaam (Contentment) and Moksha (Enlightenment). Shri Mata Vaishno Devi is believed to grant all the four boons to those who visit Her Holy Shrine. She is considered to fulfill anything and everything that a person wishes for in life, in a righteous way. Morning, after breakfast drive to Sanasar, picturesque cup shaped meadow, which is surrounded by coniferous trees. An ideal travel destination.

After a leisurely morning, drive to Jammu. Here tour ends with happy memories as you drop to the Jammu Airport/Railway Station for the journey to onward destination.
