Days Itinerary

Upon arrival at Guwahati Railway Station or Airport, you will get a friendly welcome by our representative. You will then be transferred to the pre booked hotel in Guwahati.

Today’s sightseeing will include Kalakshetra which showcases the culture and heritage of Assam people. The next stop will be Fancy Bazaar and Handicraft Market where you can shop from.

After sightseeing, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Start your day early and receive Darshan at Kamakhya temple located on Nilachal hill. It is advisable to obtain a VIP pass from the temple counter to avoid standing in long queues.

You can also explore and seek blessings at other temples located on Nilachal Hill including Dhumavati temple, Tripureswari temple, Maa Tara temple, Maa Kali temple, Maa Chhinnamasta temple, Maa Bagla temple, Maa Bhuvaneshwari temple and Maa Bana Durga temple.

Note:

  • In order to offer a special ritual or puja at Kamakhya temple, inform us a day prior so that we can make the necessary arrangements.
  • Every year during the period of Ambubachi, the Kamakhya temple remains closed i.e from 22 June – 25 June.
  • When the temple reopens, a big ceremony named Ambubachi Mela is held. The Mela goes on for a week making the temple premises and local streets extremely crowded. Therefore, plan your trip accordingly.
  • Ambubachi Mela dates: 26 June – 03 July.
After breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to the departure location at either railway station or the airport. You can continue your journey further to your home with joyful memories of the trip.
