Days Itinerary

You will be welcomed by our representative when you reach Bhubaneswar Airport or railway station, they will take you to the hotel. Next, you will see the twin hills of Khandagiri and Udayagiri, where you can find the Jain Temple, Elephanta Caves, Lion Cave, and the Queen Cave. Bhubaneswar is known for its beautiful temples constructed from 7th to 13th centuries. You can also visit many temples like Lingaraj, Mukteshwar, Parshuram mandir, Kedargouri, and Bindusagar. Then, stay overnight in a hotel. Note: Nandankanan, the State Museum, and the Tribal Museum are closed on Mondays and on state holidays.

After breakfast, you will proceed to Konark by vehicle. On the way, visit Dhauli to see the Buddhist Stupa and peace pagoda, and stop to explore Pipli (famous for its decorative work). Once you reach Konark, you will visit the popular Sun Temple that was constructed by King Narasimha in the 13th century. Now, you will travel to Puri. On the way, visit Chandrabhaga Beach, known for its clean sand and peaceful surroundings. You will also visit Ramchandi Temple. Now, go to Puri and check into the hotel. In the evening, Visit its famous Jagannath Temple (oldest Hindu temple). Over the years, it has attracted many kings, devotees, pilgrims, and people from around the world. Now, rest in a hotel for an overnight stay.

Note: Tourists cannot go to the Jagannath Temple during the “Anavasara’’ period, from the Krishna Paksha of Ashada month until the Jagannath Rath Yatra begins.

Next day, (after breakfast) visit Chilika Lake, the largest brackish water body in Asia, where you can see many birds and sea creatures. Take a boat to the island to enjoy nature and visit Kalijai Temple on Kalijai Island (this is an extra cost).

Now, return to the hotel and relax on Puri’s golden beach in the evening. Then, stay overnight.
